Did you see Usain Bolt’s world record time in the 100 meter sprint? If he can get off to a good start, he might be able to bring that time down to 9.50. The NY Times has an article to shows the times of all of the Olympic champions in the 100 meter event. To put it in perspective, if the first Olympic champion had raced Bolt, he would have finished nearly 20 meters behind. Check the video and the other events covered; 100 meter freestyle and broad jump (where the record from 1968 still stands today).
