Today’s link is a video with Coach Burgener demonstrating all of the aspects of the grip in Olympic lifting. The key points in the video deal with active shoulders, weight over the feet, and the hook grip. It sounds like the hook grip is non-negotiable for snatches and cleans – you better use it. When you are going over head, you don’t have to use the hook grip. Watch the video and learn from it.

Rest day

CrossFit Endurance – Tues/Thurs/Sun

C2 Row (THU): 10 x 30 seconds all-out hill sprint, rest 2:00 between each rep, damper setting is athlete’s choice

Concept 2 WOD

2 min, 3 min, 4 min, 3 min, 2 min pyramid / 2 min easy

Pre-set the monitor for 22 minutes. Row five intervals in a pyramid of 2-3-4-3-2 minutes, with two minutes of rest in between each piece.
