Today’s link deals with a problem you may not know you have, low stomach acid. A low stomach acid problem can lead to a host of other issues. I have been on an acid reducer, such as Prilosec, for years, but now I am beginning to wonder if I actually have a low-acid problem. I have heard Robb Wolf talk about using digestive enzymes to help with protein and mineral absorption especially in terms of repairing a sick gut while on the Paleo diet. I have been taking a digestive enzyme (probiotic) for a short-time now and the results seem promising.
