There is a challenge running for the Concept2 SkiErg and is not for rowers. But, there is nothing from stopping us from using their challenge in our weekly rowing. This is an individual challenge and the plan is for one challenge to be completed during the week. Each week’s challenge is listed below:

  • Week 1, Feb. 1–7: 5000 meters
  • Week 2, Feb. 8–14: 500 meters
  • Week 3, Feb. 15–21: 2000 meters
  • Week 4, Feb. 22–29: 10,000 meters

The next rowing challenge begins on Feb. 9th. The Valentine Challenge is an individual challenge and requires you to row a combined 14K (get it?) between the 9th and 14th.

CrossFit Endurance – Short Intervals

4 x 500m, rest 90 seconds, hold all splits within 2-3 seconds

Concept2 – Short WOD

5 x 3 min / 2 min easy

Row five 3 minute pieces. Row for two minutes at light pressure between each piece.
